Luneta is a historic place you can find here in the Philippines. These is where the Philippine National Hero died. You can find Luneta in Manila. This is one of the nice place in the Philippines. If you ever try to think the place Manila, your mind will remember Luneta. Many people are coming there to relax because it has a good surroundings and there are playground for the kids.
But all are aware now of the unexpected incident happened in the place. The "hostage situation" that happened last Monday, 23rd of august 2010. I feel so sorry for the incident that cause the death of many innocent people.
I am a Filipino. I can say that, no one wants this kind of incident to happen. Many have seen and heard the incident.
With the help of my "blog," this is my chance to express my feelings towards the "hostage situation."
I want to say, deep in my heart that I pass my big condolence to all the victims. I can't blame you with your blaze feelings towards the Philippines as well as the Filipinos. But I am aware that the Philippine government is doing the best to facify the feelings of the Hongkong people specially the relatives of the victims.
Again, I am saying my condolence to all the victims and the relatives of the victims.

Luneta ...

It does not Drink Water

How many times have we heard the saying “Water is life.” We have also heard that life cannot exist without water. Well there is an animal that does not drink water. It is called the Jerboa.

Jerboa is the name for the small, jumping rodents of the family Dipodidae, found in and parts of Asia. North Aftrica, and South Eastern Europe. Jerboa have extremely long hind feet and short forelegs; they always walk upright or hop like kangaroos. A jerboa can hop faster than a person can run, and a single leap may carry it to almost 2 meters. Jerboa have long silky fur, buff colored fur above and pale below; members of most species have a black face mask and tail tuft.
They have large eyes and long ears. The combined head and body length is between 5 and 20 centimeters, depending on the species. The tail is usually somewhat longer than the body. When the animal sits the tail is used as a prop.

Solitary, noctumal animals, with a low tolerance for heat, jerboas spend the day in individual burrows with plugged entrances. In the northern parts of their range they hibernate; some jerboas of the true deserts aestivate. They feed on plant matter, especially seeds, and insects.
They do not drink, but survive on water obtained from food or produced by their own metabolism. – Bato Balani

Get rid of Stinking Thinking (Part 2 of 2)

Good morning everyone. Second part of my article will now here …..

Rick Warren, in his book A Purpose Driven Church, tells us to not ask the question “Why is the church not growing,” but to ask, “What is causing the church to not grow.” Whenever we get our thinking on the right path, the church will begin to grow and mature. Paul wrote to the church at Corinth, “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.” (1 Cor. 3:6)

If you think you can have harmony amongst your leadership, you can.

Always strive for unity among the leadership team of your church. There will be times of disagreement regarding certain issues, but you can have these disagreements and still maintain unity among your leaders. The Devil will target leadership teams in an effort to bring the whole church down. Knowing this, make it a priority to pray and fast over your leadership team and always think positively concerning them.

● “Great things will happen with our team.”
● “Great results will occur in our meetings.”
● “We will maintain harmony and unity among our brothers and sisters.”

If you think positively, positive things will happen.

It’s as easy as that. Positive thinking produces positive results. However, negative thinking produces negative results as well. It’s time to get rid of the negative mindset that most have. It’s easy to be negative. It’s easy to find the worst in any situation. Anyone can do that. But, we need spiritual leaders and pastors who recognize where we live and what’s going on around us, but still believe in the awesome power of our God! Don’t be afraid to start that new project or that new program in your church because of past failures. You will never hit the target if you stop shooting!

It’s time to have a checkup from the neck up and get rid of stinking thinking!

Finally, bretheren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8)

Get rid of Stinking Thinking (Part 1 of 2)

Good morning friends. Many said let us get rid of stink thinking. I believe in that. Sometimes when we think of horrible things even if it’s not happening yet, we feel different. And it affects ourselves. Life is hard but I believe we have to think all positive thoughts so our doings will all be resulted to positive too. Let me tell you something that I had been read in the weekly Beacon of our church. It’s a good one. Here it says …

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: (Philippians 2:5).

“You can think your way to failure and unhappiness, but you can also think your way to success and happiness. The world in which you live is not primarily determined by outward conditions and circumstances but by the thoughts that habitually occupy your mind.” Norman Vincent Peale.

Marcus Aurelius said, “A man’s life is what his thoughts make of it.”

It has been said that the wisest man who ever lived in America was Ralph Waldo Emerson, the Sage of Concord. Emerson declared, “A man is what he thinks about all day long.”

If you think you can have revival, you can.

You get what you pray for. If you are praying for revival and believe with all of your heart that revival will come, it will come. It will come with god’s timing, and He is bound by His word. And His word says that He hears us when we pray. If we are seeking for His will and are sincerely seeking revival for our church and community, it will come. We have to believe!

“But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putted in the sickle, because the harvest is come.” (mark 4:29)

If you think your church will grow, it will.

If you are praying for your church to grow, it will. If you plant the seed of faith, and water it with prayers and fasting, the church is destined to grow. It is the will of God for the church to grow. This is His church and He wants it to succeed. We have to get our thinking right, get our attitudes straightened up and get on board with what God has in store for us.

See you on the second part of my article ….
